Working for Croydon Council’s Violence Reduction Network, W. Bro. Liam Mallon received a variety of requests from local charities and organisations appealing for unused or unwanted laptops so that Croydon’s youngsters were able to continue their education at home during the lockdown. A quick message in the Lodge WhatsApp group, and not only were the members digging through their lofts and garages for IT kit, but they also donated £500 to be given to Croydon Voluntary Action, Palace for Life, Croydon Commitment and Go2Games to support the purchase of computers for Croydon’s most vulnerable young people.
If you would like to join with Liam and the members of Burstow Lodge in supporting this great cause, you can donate at https://tinyurl.com/y5j8e87uhttps://www.gofundme.com/f/keepcroydonconnected
